City of Castle Pines North City Council Ward 3 Stacie Sneider
What have been your contributions to the Castle Pines North community? I co-founded the Douglas County Rock Slide, a community 5K run sponsored by local businesses benefiting schools in CPN. The event averages 1400 participants, has netted $60,000, and countless health benefits for our students since 2004. In 2006, I partnered the event with the Castle Pines Kiwanis Club to support child suicide prevention. In 2005, I helped found the CPN swim team with 150 swimmers and their families; and served on the board of directors. Since 2006, I have also served on the board of directors of CPNHOA1. What qualifications would you bring to this position? I have 14 years experience in community management. Currently, I work as a Senior Community Manager managing both commercial and residential associations. My vision for CPN bridges both the wants and needs of the residents and businesses. Where businesses are here for the community and residents are patrons who champion those businesses. I am dedicated to a democratic, transparent government of our community, and to the highest ideals of honor and integrity in all relationships. My conviction is to build a city that maintains our property values, community values, and family values: a city that gives rise to that peaceful calm secure feeling of “Being Home.” |
