Grading, infrastructure and road construction are underway at the site of a future Walgreens drug store on the north side of Castle Pines Parkway at Lagae Road. The project, which experienced several delays, is expected to continue for much of the coming year.

“Some of our progress will be dependent on the weather, but I would expect we’ll see the Walgreens completed sometime in July,” said Max Heitzmann, project manager for Anxon, Inc., who owns the development.

There are four “pads” at the center; the Walgreens location will be completed first. A Grease Monkey auto service center and a car wash are also confirmed tenants at the site. At press time, two additional pads were available.
