Rock Canyon High School is in the swing of Spring. Students participated in statewide CSAP testing the week of March 4-7. Spring Break arrived soon after, providing a deserved rest for all of the hardworking students and staff.

RCHS is continuing to prepare for their Spring Fashion Show, which is dedicated to after-prom fundraising. Volunteers are in high demand for the event. Please visit the website for more information, or to register to help, or to provide business sponsorship.

Also on the website, parents who wish to take out a personal message space in the yearbook for ‘08 graduates can find the appropriate forms. The parents are encouraged to take the Parent Survey and the Superintendent’s Survey, or register to help with the AfterProm party. RCHS is seeking to provide a safe place to celebrate after the dance, and volunteers can never be too plentiful.

Rock Canyon High School is inviting the community to Community Awareness Night on Tuesday, April 8 from 7:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. in the school auditorium. The event will discuss “How to identify drug and alcohol abuse,” and is aimed at alerting parents to a critical subject. The evening will feature speakers who are professionals working in the Highlands Ranch Community, and will be facilitated by a representative of the Highlands Ranch Homeowners Association.
