Metro District Update
|
||||||||||
On May 19, three new board members were officially sworn in at the monthly meeting of the Castle Pines North (CPN) Metro District. Metro District Board President Ted Lohr and Metro District Manager Jim McGrady thanked Cortney Brand, Mark Shively and Carl Lowman for their years of service on the board. Plans for an Open Space Improvement Master Plan for CPN were also reviewed at the meeting. Parks and Open Space Manager Charlie Fagan recommended the awarding of the contract for the landscape master plan to Norris Design, and the board approved the recommendation. A six member citizen committee will be established to help create the landscape master plan for CPN. The committee will include three CPN residents, a representative from the Metro District, the Master Association and the City Council. Discussions to purchase storage space for renewable water continued, along with updates on the interconnect pipeline project. The District also made more than $500,000 in repairs to water well A-4, which is located next to The Ridge Golf Course.
