Students and staff at Rocky Heights Middle School finished up the 2007 – 2008 school year and were more than ready for summer break. Yet, the hallways will not be silent. Summer School session 1 begins July 21 – 23, and session 2 begins July 29 – 31. The annual Summer Summit (summer school) program runs from July 21 to August 1.

To prepare for the 2008 – 2009 school year, RHMS has schedule pick up on the following dates:

July 29 – Sixth graders pick up schedules, 11:00 a.m. – 12:30 p.m.

July 30 – Seventh graders pick up schedules, 9 a.m. - noon

July 30 – Eighth graders pick up schedules, 1 p.m. – 4 p.m.

The first day of school is August 11 for sixth graders. New to the school seventh and eighth graders are required to attend from 10:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. Tuesday August 12, school starts, fully day, for all sixth, seventh, and eighth graders.
