To verify voter registration, view sample ballots, find voting locations and link to other important voting information, visit www.douglasvotes.com or call the Douglas County Clerk and Recorder’s Office: 303-660-7444.

Voting by mail is the easiest way to cast your ballot. To obtain a “Mail-in Ballot Request” simply visit www.douglasvotes.org or call 303-660-7444. The last day to apply for a mail ballot for the primary election is August 5.

For the primary election only, voters must be registered as either a Democrat or a Republican. Voters do not need to have a declared party affiliation to vote in the general election.

Voters who wish to vote at a polling place may participate in early voting at locations throughout the county. Visit www.douglasvotes.org for polling place information. Early voting polling places will be open to voters from August 4-8 from 8 a.m. until 5 p.m.

Voters who want to cast their vote on election day must do so at their designated polling place – not all voters will vote at Castle Pines North’s Community Center in this election. To find your designated polling place, visit www.douglasvotes.org or call 303-660-7444. On Election Day only, paper ballots will be available in addition to voting machines. Polls will be open from 7 a.m. until 7 p.m.

When going to a polling place, be sure to bring: legal identification, yellow signature card, and a marked sample ballot. The marked sample ballot will speed the voting process, allowing a more expeditious polling experience.
