High school bells, silent for the summer, will begin ringing again August 11. Freshman and new students will begin their secondary school careers a day earlier than their returning counterparts in order to better navigate their schedules and the hallways.

Attention in-line hockey players! Rock Canyon needs you to play for your school. Tryouts are at the Parker Fieldhouse at 18700 East Plaza Drive in Parker, on Sunday August 24, 3:00 p.m. – 4:30 p.m., and Wednesday August 27, 7 p.m. – 8 p.m.

Following the Sunday tryouts, there will be a barbeque for current and future players and their families at 5:30 p.m. at the Kings Crossing Clubhouse at 7306 Oxford Drive in Castle Pines North.

The Winter/Spring season tryouts will be held in the fall.
