Funding
will come from a variety of sources, including developers, grants
and donations. A portion of your Homeowner dues will be allocated
to the Parks Authority. The CPN Master Association
is providing substantial funding of the parks from our annual
dues, which will increase by $18.00 per year. These funds will
allow the Authority to do the initial planning and designing as
well as help get the first parks built as soon as possible.
Developer
Commitment
The developers of the remaining land in Castle Pines North have
taken the lead in funding the first steps of the plan.
The
Writer Corp., Village Homes, Continental Homes, The Genesee Co.,
and Falcon Homes have all signed agreements to pay $150 from every
house sold in their remaining developments. The Romar West developers
have also committed the same funding from the 272 lots to be developed
on that property.
On
the 280 acres of land being developed by Lynx Land, LLC, the fee
will be $350 per house sold. In addition, the Lynx Land developers
funded all of the early costs of the Authority and donated $40,000.00
to the plan.
The
Urban Group, which is building out the first commercial development
paid about $62,000 in parks fees to Douglas County which the Parks
Authority hopes to bring back to our community. They have also pledged
a contribution of $10,000 to the Foundation.
