County Commissioner and State Legislature Races in November

Now that Douglas County election officials have verified that Steve Boand has won the hotly contested race for the Republican nomination for District II County Commissioner, the stage is set for several November election races that will be important to CPN:

Douglas County Commissioner, District II: Boand, of Castle Rock, will face Democrat Doug Gilbert, of Castle Pines North.

Douglas County Commissioner, District III: incumbent Melanie Worley (R) will face challenger Ernie Felix (D). Both are from Highlands Ranch.

State House of Representatives, District 45: Jim Sullivan (R) (currently one of our County Commissioners) vs. Penny Burley (D).

State Senate: District 4: Tom Wiens (R) (our current state Representative) vs. Jim Miller (D), a former judge.

Look for more coverage on all of these races in the October issue of The Connection, and on www.cpnhoa.org.

To vote in the November 2 General Election, all voters must register by October 4.
