Our First Five-Paw Event was on August 25th:

Thanks to everyone on both sides of our Coyote Ridge Booth!

Thanks to Lisa, Kris & Jim, Laura, Jeannie, Arlene & Joe for working our booth and helping us get our message out.

A Five-Paw Event on October 20th:

We were at the Castle Rock Kings Soopers on October 20th from 9:00am-3:00pm and raised $630 in six hours!

The DFL "Pet Care-avan" was also there from 9-12:00. This special vehicle brings adoptable pets to shopping centers and community events throughout the Denver metro area. It is another way DFL can provide information about our programs and services and educate people about responsible pet care.

Please check back with us, we will be doing more of this and we'd like to see you...

A Christmas Wreath Silent Auction Five-Paw Event was held on December 6th, 2001.

There were 7 professionally decorated wreaths to bid on and, thanks to the talented generosity of those creating the wreaths (kudos for your efforts) and to the generous community residents who did the bidding - we sold 5 for a total of $475.

Thank you so much to all the people who contributed. A special "thanks" to the kind neighbor who hosted our auction in their home.

Good people live in CPN!

Participation in Fundraising Activities:

  • Meeting of interested people - let us know if you can join us. Our next meeting will be in 2002 - please plan on joining us.
  • Planning - There is a lot of talent in our community. Share your good ideas.

Help with non-monetary activities:

  • Help spread the word about what we want to do and why it is so important.
  • Signs.
  • Posters.
  • Newsletter and Web articles.

How we are doing:

Look for our doghouse-shaped donation boxes at various CPN businesses and nearby areas.
