On
March 1, 2002 Libations Wine and Sprits and Cherry Knolls
Liquors present the 4th Annual Wine Tasting to benefit
the Colorado Chapter of Boys Hope Girls Hope. It will
be held at the Holiday Inn Denver South (7770 S.Peoria in
Englewood....303-790-7770) from 6-10 P.M. with over 150 domestic
and imported wines, Belgian beers, microbrews, and ports being
provided along with food and pastries.
Boys
Hope Girls Hope is a non-profit organization (501 3-c)
that helps at-risk children to be placed in group homes which
provide a positive, encouraging setting.
The Organization not only funds their living costs, but also
provides them with educational expenses at Regis High School
in Aurora.

Abba
Family Services - We currently have 52 children placed in our
foster homes. My family and I volunteer for Abba in respite situations
such as taking the foster child for a night or two to give the foster
family a break and we are getting to know a little bit about the
huge sacrifices a foster family makes. Foster families earn very
little money taking in these children and they have to provide clothing,
food, transportation etc. for this child, so any donations that
we can round up for them is very much appreciated. (9-24-01)
