Castle
Pines North residents and business owners are asked to follow an every-third
day watering schedule from June 1st to September 30th. Spreading
our peak watering demands helps ensure sufficient reserves in case of
emergencies, such as fire.
The
Metro District is
asking everyone to reduce the amount of water used by irrigating the landscape
every third day. Set your irrigation clocks
to water between 10:00pm and 5:00am to help reduce the daytime demands
and reduce evaporation loss. Avoid watering between 6:00am and 6:00pm.
Have it both
ways: simple conservation measures can save you up to 20% on your water
bills, it can preserve our water resources, and still maintain a beautiful
lawn.

Every
third day using
calendar based on the last two digits of your house address:
- diamond
 (00-30)
If your address ends in the two digits 00 through 30,
watering days are designated by a diamond
- square
(31-60)
If
your address ends in
the two digits 31 through 60, watering days are designated by a square
- circle
 (61-99)
If
your address ends in
the two digits 61 through 99, watering days are designated by a circle
