If you are a registered voter and live in the Castle Pines North Metro District, you can vote in this election.

You must be registered by October 7th to be eligible to vote.

Voters have 3 ways to vote:

  1. Vote on Election Day - November 5, 2002

Vote at your regular polling place. If you don't know your polling location, you can look it up online on the county election web site listed above, or contact the county election office.

  2. Vote early
Early voting will be October 21st - November 1st, Monday through Friday, at the following locations:

  Castle Rock:
Douglas County offices, Wilcox Building, 301 N. Wilcox St., 8am-5 pm
King Soopers, 100 Founders Parkway, 10am-7pm

  Highlands Ranch:

  3. By Absentee ballot

You may also vote by absentee ballot. Voters who request an Absentee Ballot MUST vote with the Absentee Ballot; you cannot change your mind and vote at an Early Voting site or at the polls on election day. The absentee ballot must be received at the county Clerk and Recorder's office no later than 7:00 p.m. on November 5.

All registered voters should have already received an absentee ballot application from the county election office, and may have also received application forms from other sources such as political parties. Applications can also be downloaded from the county election web site, or picked up in person at the election office. If you are not sure if you have already requested an absentee ballot, call the county election office (they'd rather have you call than send in a duplicate request).
